Ingredients:
Potatoes: 2 pcs (approximately 400 g)
Eggs: 2 pcs
Cheese (grated): 30 g
Salt: to taste
Ground black pepper: to taste
Dry ground garlic: a pinch
Olive oil: 1-2 tbsp
Butter: 5 g
Parsley: a few sprigs, finely chopped
Instructions:
Prepare Ingredients: Wash and peel the potatoes.
Grate the potatoes into thin shreds using a box grater or a food processor.
Mix: In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs.
Add grated cheese, salt, black pepper, and dry ground garlic. Stir in the grated potatoes until everything is well combined.
Cook: Heat olive oil and butter in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Once the butter is melted, spread the potato mixture evenly in the pan.
Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.
Flip: Carefully flip the frittata to cook the other side, pressing down slightly to ensure even cooking.
Cook for another 5-7 minutes until golden brown and the potatoes are tender.
Garnish: Sprinkle finely chopped parsley over the cooked frittata for added flavor.
Serve: Slide the frittata onto a plate, slice, and serve hot. This dish can be enjoyed as a hearty breakfast or a quick dinner.
