T\u00edpico de la cocina siciliana , es un plato pobre nacido a principios del siglo pasado en el mercado de Vucciria de Palermo, en una \u00e9poca en la que no todo el mundo pod\u00eda permitirse el lujo de la carne. Dada su consistencia fibrosa, si estaba bien aromatizada la calabaza pod\u00eda parecerse al alimento m\u00e1s caro, por lo que se propuso como alternativa econ\u00f3mica al h\u00edgado y se denomin\u00f3 ficatu ri sette cannola , &#8220;h\u00edgado de los siete grifos&#8221;, donde los grifos se refer\u00edan al fuentes que adornaban la plaza principal del mercado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy os presentamos nuestra versi\u00f3n Giusina de calabaza agridulce siciliana , f\u00e1cil y r\u00e1pida de preparar: despu\u00e9s de cortarla en rodajas, la calabaza se fr\u00ede en una sart\u00e9n , se condimenta con menta fresca y ajo y finalmente se espolvorea con una salsa dulce y condimento \u00e1cido a base de vinagre y az\u00facar.
